As the mid-state area's ONLY female general contractor and designer, Elizabeth’s firm, Superior Construction and Design, has been in business since 2000. Recognizing a love of real estate and construction when building her own home at the age of 24, she knew coupling that knowledge with her interior design skill was a service few could provide.
In 2011, Elizabeth began to help local Realtors stage their listings, and in 2014 earned her certification as an Expert Psychological Stager (EPS). She then joined the Real Estate Staging Association and helped form the first Tennessee chapter of RESA, serving as VP of membership. In 2015, Elizabeth was selected as the first TN State President for RESA serving two terms, and in the fall of 2017 she was elected to the RESA National Board of Directors. In 2016, she co-authored the Amazon best seller: Home Staging, The Power That Sells Real Estate with 14 other influential stagers from across North America. In 2017, she was named RESA State President of the Year, and a RESA Top 10 Re-Designer.
Elizabeth attends trade events and markets each year. She was a member of the Modenus KBIS Blog Tour in January of 2018, and a featured guest of Luann Nigara’s number one podcast for designers, A Well-Designed Business, in March. Elizabeth is a RESA-Pro member, the Vice-President of the Virtual Chapter of the Interior Design Society (IDS), and is a member of National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) and the National Association for Women in Construction (NAWIC). Elizabeth has been a contributing writer for Wilson County's premier magazine, Wilson Living, for 6 years, and blogs on her web site weekly about all things real estate/ design. Elizabeth resides in Tennessee with her husband of 26 years, their twin daughters and young son.
